Album of the Week: Faithless — No Roots (2004)

Faithless’ No Roots remains one of the all-time greats in electronic music. If you combined my iTunes plays with my Spotify ones, you’d have at least 500 complete listens in the last 15 years. Maybe more. It’s THAT good. The combination of Rollo Armstrong, Maxi Jazz, and Sister Bliss…everything they touched turned to gold, but this album in particular…this was one of the greatest bands in the history of electronic music at the very their peak of their powers. Essential, as we used to say. Essential.

And for those of you who prefer your electronic music without vocals, check out the Everything Will Be Alright Tomorrow version, which is the entire thing remixed as a continuous instrumental track.

Like the breeze….even when I’m not there….
